HOW MUCH DO YOUR SERVICES COST?

WHICH DAYS OF A TRIP DO YOU CHARGE TO PLAN?

Wunderbird only charges to plan days where the traveler spends 10+ hours in-location. For example: If you depart home at 7pm on Friday and land at 9am on Saturday in your travel destination, Wunderbird will charge you the full rate for Saturday. If you depart home on Friday and land at 6pm on Saturday in your travel destination, Wunderbird will not charge you for Saturday.

CAN YOU BOOK MY AIRFARE?

Your Wunderbird Travel Consultant will help you identify the best airfare for your trip, but our clients are responsible for booking their airfare separately.

WHAT IS YOUR POLICY REGARDING ANIMAL ATTRACTIONS?

Around the globe, travelers will encounter thousands of attractions that exploit or harm animals. At Wunderbird, we believe animals do not exist for our entertainment. Because of our stance on animal welfare, we shun certain kinds of animal tourism altogether — such as elephant rides and marine mammal shows — and seriously consider every animal-focused activity or destination our clients are interested in booking.

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?

Our top priority is you, the traveler. If you’re not entirely happy with your Wunderbird experience, we’ll work with you to make it right. Read more about our policies on the Refund Policy page.

HOW LONG DOES THE PLANNING PROCESS TAKE?

Your customized itinerary will be delivered in 3 weeks or less. Your Travel Consultant will not officially begin work on your itinerary until your invoice is paid in full.

HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK?

Your Travel Consultant will give you the total for planning your trip at the end of your initial planning call. You will then receive an invoice and be able to pay for Wunderbird’s services via an online portal. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. We are also able to accept payment via PayPal, Venmo, and Zelle.

IF YOU BOOK MY HOTELS + ACTIVITIES, HOW DO YOU PAY FOR THE BOOKINGS?

Wunderbird has chosen Keeper Password Manager and Digital Vault to secure and manage our clients’ private information, including your credit card information. Keeper uses Zero-Knowledge — a system architecture — to guarantee the highest levels of security and privacy. Keeper supports 256-bit AES encryption and PBKDF2, which are widely accepted as the strongest forms of encryption available. Keeper also supports several forms of two-factor authentication for another layer of access control. Once your trip has been booked and your account closed, Wunderbird will securely delete your credit card information from Keeper.
